Tickets Kunstsammlungen am Theaterplatz

General admission / Reduced admission / Children and young people / Family tickets

Reduced admission is available for:

Students

Volunteers in the Federal Volunteer Service

People with disabilities (degree of disability at least 50 per cent)

Holders of the Saxon Volunteer Card

Free tickets

Children and young people as well as schoolchildren up to the age of 18

(online only in conjunction with a reduced or general admission ticket or within the family ticket)

Other possible discounts and free tickets as set out in the fee schedule for the museums are available at the museum ticket offices. Please find out about discounts and free tickets before purchasing your tickets.

If tickets are no longer available in the online shop, it may still be possible to purchase them at the museum ticket offices (depending on visitor numbers). However, this is not guaranteed.

Only scheduled day tickets or time slot tickets can be purchased in the online shop (general admission/reduced admission/children and young people/family tickets). These are valid for one visit and only for the date and/or time slot specified on the ticket.

You may have to queue even though you bought your ticket online. Please note that this applies especially for tickets for the Karl Schmidt-Rottluff Haus and the Capital of Culture exhibitions.

Once purchased, tickets cannot be cancelled or rebooked. Tickets can be obtained from the online shop approx. 4 weeks in advance. Other ticket types can be purchased at the museum ticket offices.

Free tickets can only be booked for children and young people as well as schoolchildren up to the age of 18 in conjunction with a reduced or general admission ticket or within the family ticket.

Reduced admission: If you have purchased a reduced admission ticket, please have the corresponding proof of entitlement ready for inspection at the museum entrance.

Please note:

Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or cancelled. Refunds cannot be given in cases of force majeure, such as problems with public transport or in the event that you are prevented from visiting due to personal circumstances. Please read the Terms and Conditions before booking.

How do I book a ticket?

To purchase a ticket online, you will need a valid email address.

Please select the desired day and tickets in the overview below.

Vouchers cannot be redeemed in the online shop.

To conclude your booking, please confirm the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy in the shopping basket.

You will then be redirected to the payment service. Please allow a moment for this. Payment can be made by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) and PayPal.

You will receive your tickets by email. Please also check your spam folder!

You do not have to print out the tickets; these can also be presented on your smartphone/tablet.
